Although the material differences make up for the mechanical property differences, both the types of plates could be used interchangeably depending on the application requirements. It is not always possible to have clear dimensions of surfaces. To connect plates with gaps, the stainless steel 304 strip could be used. The strips can fill in the gabs between plates with welding. The 304 material has excellent weldability and the welding lasts longer. The price of stainless steel sheet differs according to the type of the plate.
